鑄鐵煎鍋食譜:蒜蓉奶油煎牛排



  • Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary), for garnish (optional)

 

Instructions:

  1. 1.Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place your cast iron skillet in the oven while it preheats.
  2. 2.Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. 3.Once the oven is preheated, carefully remove the skillet from the oven using oven mitts. Place it on the stovetop over medium-high heat.
  4. 4.Add olive oil to the skillet and swirl it around to coat the bottom evenly.
  5. 5.Carefully lay the steaks in the hot skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until a golden brown crust forms.
  6. 6.While the steaks are searing, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
  7. 7.Once both sides of the steaks are nicely seared, spoon the garlic butter mixture over the steaks.
  8. 8.Transfer the skillet with the steaks to the preheated oven. Cook for an additional 4-6 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer a more well-done steak.
  9. 9.Remove the skillet carefully from the oven using oven mitts. Transfer the steaks to a cutting board and let them rest for a few minutes.
  10. 10.Slice the steaks against the grain and serve them hot. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

 

Remember to exercise caution when handling a hot cast iron skillet, as it retains heat for a long time. Use oven mitts and handle the skillet with care.
